The international Arab broadcaster Al Jazeera reports that ‘[w]orld leaders at UN talks in Mexico are struggling to reach an agreement on climate change that is aimed at finding ways to help reduce the world’s carbon emissions. European Union officials at the Mexican resort of Cancun said that they have earmarked almost $3bn to fight global warming this year. Dan Nolan reports from Ras al-Khai-mah in the United Arab Emirates, where climate change has been spun into a fun way to make money’.
