‘People in Istanbul hold yet another rally against Ankara’s stance on the Kurdish fight against ISIL militants in Syria’s Kobani. Among the protesters, was the father of a Turkish man killed in clashes in the border city earlier this month. This is the latest in a series of demonstrations in Turkey against Ankara’s support for the ISIL terrorists. The protesters are also angry at the government for preventing the country’s Kurds from crossing the border into Kobani to join the fighting there. Some of the rallies in the past days turned violent, with clashes between the protesters and security forces. Outrage is growing against Turkey, as it continues to block the delivery of military, medical and humanitarian aid to Kurds fighting the ISIL terrorists in Kobani (19 Oct 2014)’.
